I love a season change, especially when it is going into the cooler months. As much as I love a hot summer’s day at the beach and having the sun set after 8 pm, there’s something to appreciate when the leaves change colour and you get to reach for an extra layer. There’s a shift in the air, and with that comes fresh inspiration for my wardrobe.

It’s already noticeable that the seasons are changing when it comes to fashion. I spent a couple of hours browsing stores at my nearby Westfield recently and came across so many pieces I loved. This moment we’re having with rich chocolate tones is an absolute favourite. I couldn’t tell you how many pieces I tried on simply because of the colour (loving them all too!) it’s warm, versatile, and feels effortlessly chic. I can already see it becoming a staple in my wardrobe over the next few months.

Another key piece that’s standing out right now is chocolate suede. There’s something about this texture and colour combination that feels so luxurious and timeless. Whether it’s a suede blazer, boots, or a structured handbag, this fabric adds a richness that instantly elevates an outfit. I spotted a few chocolate suede pieces while browsing and found myself drawn to how effortlessly they can be styled—whether dressed up with tailored trousers or paired with denim for an everyday look. It’s definitely a trend I’ll be incorporating into my wardrobe this season.

What I also noticed was the mix of textures and fabrics popping up everywhere. From soft knits to structured wool coats and subtle sparkles woven into pieces, there’s such a beautiful variety to play with. And let’s not forget one of my favourite reasons for embracing the cooler change—boots! I love a good boot, and I’ve been on the lookout for a classic black pair for some time now. Seeing new styles in stores has me tempted to start my search all over again.

I’m excited to experiment with deeper hues, layering techniques, and timeless investment pieces this season. Whether it’s introducing a new colour, playing with different textures, or finally finding that perfect pair of boots, this month’s style inspiration is all about embracing the transition and making it my own.
